Career Education

Career Education in SD59 occurs in classrooms and in the community from kindergarten to grade 12 and beyond.  From awareness activities in the primary grades to hands-on, real-world learning and earning at the secondary level, there are opportunities for all students.

At the secondary level, SD59 offers programs in a variety of career and job training settings for students. Students can learn trades, vocational and academic skills – from carpentry to power engineering, hair styling to cook training, first aid to heavy equipment operation, office administration to social work, and more. We have lots of options to consider!
