Mission Statement: To Develop skills, nurture personal growth, and encourage life long learning in a supportive and respectful environment.

Tumbler Ridge Secondary School is a Grade 7 – 12 school with 160 students. Because of the small size of TRSS, there is a tremendous sense of community, as we tend to create strong and enduring relationships among staff and students. New students attending TRSS can look forward to personal attention, flexible timetables, unique learning experiences, and a variety of recreational opportunities.

Students have access to a number of extracurricular activities including athletics, Student Voice, and the GSA. All students are welcome to participate in any of our school clubs.

With the beautiful scenery of Tumbler Ridge, and the caring environment of Tumbler Ridge Secondary School, your learning experience is guaranteed to be unique.

Tumbler Ridge is situated in the pristine and beautiful setting of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in the stunning Tumbler RIdge Geopark. The surrounding area is an outdoor enthusiast’s ideal environment. From hiking and skiing trails to the many waterfalls in the area, Tumbler Ridge is a sight to behold.
